Career Guidance at Orchid

With a multitude of higher course options and an abundance of traditional and non-traditional career opportunities available to students, career counselling has become an indispensable service at senior school level. At Orchids The International School, Sonepat, career counselling is an ongoing comprehensive initiative.

It starts right from Grade IX and continues even after students take their Grade XII board exams. Right through Grades IX and X, students are introduced to the various subjects available for them to pursue in plus two and further at the university level. By the time students are expected to decide their subjects for Grade XI, they have been given ample information to take a knowledgeable decision.

Students have frequent interactions with the in-house counselor and experts from famed universities in India and abroad, which helps them decide their future career option and take the necessary steps to pursue that career.

Education fairs featuring universities from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many more countries are organized in the school to facilitate better understanding of the advantages of studying abroad and make students aware of the requirements for international admissions like the SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS etc.

Students are also enlightened about upcoming niche careers which have very high potential in the job market. Providing LORs, transcripts, predicted grades, updates about new courses and universities, admission deadlines, and entrance exam preparation tips form an integral part of the career counseling services provided at our school.
